Itinerary Details

Day 1 Kochi Arrival and drive to Munnar

On your arrival at Kochi Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and meet the driver. Start your Kerala 8 Days Tour with travel to Munnar. 4 hours short drive takes you through the verdant hills of Kerala and one the most and beautiful hill stations of Kerala known as Munnar. On the way enjoy soothing views and misty mountains as you reach the haven of peace and tranquility. Check in at hotel and spend the remaining time at leisure. Overnight in Munnar.

Day 2 Munnar

Today after a leisurely breakfast explore the popular hill station of Munnar on a private guided soft trek tour. Start with walking through the lush green plantations, grasslands, and rocks. Enjoy a fabulous homemade breakfast on the go.

Visit the famous Tea Museum of Munnar. The museum stands as an effort to tribute to all the pioneers of tea plantations of Munnar who turned it into the major tea plantation center in Kerala. Next you will visit Pothamedu Viewpoint, a breathtaking scenic spot panoramic views of tea, coffee and cardamom plantations.

After the tour, indulge in the flavorsome experience of tea tasting — learn about the plucking and processes before enjoying a cup. Return to hotel and spend the remaining time at leisure.

Overnight in Munnar.

Day 3 Munnar to Thekkady or Periyar

Morning at your leisure followed by drive to Thekkady for a thrilling delight on your Kerala Tour Package. Thekkady is the world of unending rolling hills that are home to fragrant coffee, spices and elephants. On arrival, check in at hotel.

Day 4 Thekkady to Alleppey

Morning after breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Alleppey for Kerala Backwaters Tour. Kerala’s famous backwaters are an intricated network of 1500km of canals, 38 rivers, and 5 large lakes running parallel to the Arabian Sea along the Malabar coast. On arrival board on your traditional Kettuvalam, a boat made from coconut rope and wooden planks. Day 5 Alleppey to Mararikulam

Disembark your houseboat in the morning and drive to Mararikulam, is a serene palm fringed beach village near to Alleppey. Day 6 MMararikulam

Today is at your leisure to relax on the beach and unwind. Overnight in resort.

Day 7 Mararikulam to Kochi

After breakfast check out from hotel and meet our driver for travels to Kochi. Kochi or Cochin is formerly considered as the Queen of the Arabian Sea because of its ideal trading position that invited European settlements. On arrival, check in at hotel.

After relaxing for a while join your guide for a private tour of Cochin. Start with Paradesi Synagogue, the oldest synagogue in commonwealth nations that was built in 1586. Next, we visit the Dutch Palace offering a fantastic view of the city. In the evening you can visit a local theater for Kathakali Dance performance, the word Kathakali literally means "Story-Play". Kathakali Dance is known for its elaborate costumes, intricate makeup, and powerful storytelling. Return to hotel afterwards and stay overnight.

Day 8 Kochi Walking Tour

Rise early and our driver will pick you up for a private walking tour of Kochi with guide. Walk along the waterfront and see the local fishing community in action and join the chaos of a fish auction nearby. Stop for a chai and catch ferry to Ernakulam for a local market tour. Return to hotel and spend the time at leisure. In the late afternoon you will have an option of visiting the four-century old Jewish Synagogue and the Mattancherry palace, erstwhile home to the Verma kings and today a fine museum. Overnight in Kochi.

Day 9 Kochi Departure

Our local assistant and driver will transfer you to Kochi Airport to board flight for onward journey.
